RESTOR: (Reproducible and Effective Skin Treatment Options for Rejuvenation)

The RESTOR protocol addresses the combination of problems that most detract from your appearance: an aged skin surface, a loss of facial volume that deflates your mid-face, and an increase in skin laxity that creates folds and sagging skin. The protocol can be used for mild and early skin changes or more significant aging problems too; we individualize it for you.
First, we rejuvenate your epidermal cells and dermal collagen. No one looks good with yellow skin tones, a red nose, brown age spots and wrinkles. Depending on your specific problems we utilize either a Lumenis 1 device for photorejuvenation, or a Fraxel laser for fractionated laser resurfacing. Depending on your skin's condition, one or several of these rejuvenating procedures are done to reduce age spots, redness and wrinkling. Your new collagen is also more elastic and less yellow, with a vibrant and healthy glow. Basically, you have younger skin.
Second, we perform a single Thermage skin-tightening procedure. This is a radiofrequency-based thermal heating device that stimulates collagen production in the deep dermis, and shrinks existing collagen bundles throughout. The result is a lifting and toning of your skin, which restores your face's natural contours.
By combining these procedures we maximize their benefits. This is a 1 + 1 = 3 outcome! The benefits of these combinations of treatments are greater then for any of these procedures done alone.
At this point you have completed the core of facial rejuvenation. Your skin surface is younger and your skin's deeper layers are tightened. The results are permanent and we expect that if you practice good sun protection and follow our maintenance recommendations you will slow down future aging changes.
On March 31, 2011, our clinic was nationally recognized for an outstanding presentation of our research conducted by Dr. James Brazil, Patti Owens RN, and Sharon Olson, RN. This lecture was held at the prestigious national ASLMS ( American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery) conference in Dallas, Texas. The speaker was our own Patt Owens RN, MHA.
For the last 2 years, our clinic has utilized the RESTOR program for the treatment of sun damaged and aging skin. Combinations of various cosmetic procedures have been designed to improve facial wrinkles, redness, brown sun spots, sagging skin and loss of facial volume. The RESTOR program utilizes lasers, radiofrequency, IPL, liposuction, facial fillers and/or Botox Cosmetic injections.
Our team reviewed the results obtained by 20 patients who had undergone the RESTOR program over the last year and completed their treatment regime and follow-up evaluations. Our study results, utilizing a non-biased scoring methodology, revealed successful facial rejuvenation outcomes equivalent, or better, to recent published articles.
Overall reduction in abnormal blood vessels and pigment ranged between 50%-90%. Mid-face laxity improvement ranged between 35% - 45%. These are great results and our audience at ASLMS was suitably impressed.

If your face has also lost volume, your RESTOR protocol will include volume correction. We have extensive experience in many procedures to correct lost volume, and utilize hyaluronic fillers like Restylane and Juvederm, the semi-permanent filler Radiesse, and the volumetric expander Sculptra.
